Psychological support shouldn’t be overlooked, though not because POTS is psychological in origin. Living with a chronic, often invisible condition takes an emotional toll. Recent research suggests that COVID-19 may trigger POTS in some patients, adding urgency to better understanding and treating the condition. As awareness grows, more physicians are learning to recognize POTS earlier, potentially reducing the diagnostic delay many patients currently face.

The combination of lifestyle changes, physical reconditioning, and targeted medication creates a comprehensive treatment framework. Each element addresses different aspects of POTS, working together to restore function and improve quality of life.
