Bunge North America, Inc. produced the recalled buttery blend, which was pulled after the FDA assigned it a Class II risk rating.
The affected product is the NH European Style Butter Blend, sold in white paperboard cases, identified by product code 5023937 and lot code 5064036503.
If you have a milk allergy or sensitivity, avoid this butter, as ingesting it can lead to serious reactions.
“If you cannot confirm your butter is safe, contact your retailer or discard the product,” health experts recommend.
