Russell Crowe, 61, recently discussed his remarkable weight loss since wrapping up his film “Nuremberg.” He revealed that he’s dropped from 277 pounds to 222 pounds in the past year.
Crowe attributes some of his progress to injections and IV treatments for old injuries, which helped reduce pain and inflammation. This relief allowed him to exercise comfortably and maintain an active lifestyle.
“It’s calmed down my body’s inflammation,” Crowe said during his podcast interview.
He also shared how his relationship with alcohol has changed over time. While he enjoys a good drink, he now limits himself to occasional, intentional evenings.
“Now that I’m an older guy, I know that one night a week, if I’m having fun, is plenty. I try to cut out the interstitial stuff,” he explained.
Crowe chooses to skip casual drinking and prefers savoring a good glass of wine during a nice meal. These mindful changes are part of his ongoing approach to health as he ages.
