Routine food safety checks led to a recall of certain Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted after salmonella was found in pistachios used in the mix.

The recall affects 4 oz tubs with lot code 58041 (best by JUL 28, 2026) and 11.5 oz bags with lot code 58171 (best by AUG 10, 2026). These products were available in multiple states and Washington, DC, between November 3 and December 1, 2025.

No illnesses have been linked to these nuts so far, and anyone with the recalled products should return them for a full refund.

Salmonella bacteria can cause serious food poisoning, particularly in older adults, young children, and anyone with a weakened immune system.

Common symptoms include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps.

If you experience severe symptoms such as high fever, blood in stools, ongoing vomiting, or signs of dehydration, seek medical attention promptly.

Stay proactive about your pantry and check for any recalled products to help keep your home safe.
