More than 3,000 pounds of Kirkland Signature Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke sold in Costco’s deli section have been recalled due to a risk of listeria contamination, the FDA announced. The recall affects products sold across more than 30 states and relates to green onions in the poke that were found to be potentially contaminated.
“No illnesses have been reported and Annasea Foods Group is cooperating with the FDA to determine the source of the concern.”
This ready-to-eat seafood dish is packaged in clear containers labeled with Kirkland Signature and carries item number 17193. The recalled packages were dated for packing on 9/18/2025 and had a sell by date of 9/22/2025.
States affected range from Alabama to Washington, meaning many U.S. shoppers could have purchased the item. The most vulnerable groups for listeria-related illness include older adults, newborns, and those with weakened immune systems.
Consumers should avoid eating this product and return it to Costco for a full refund. Stay alert to symptoms of listeriosis if you have already consumed any of the recalled poke and consult a healthcare provider if issues arise.
