Old Navy is launching AI-powered dressing rooms to make shopping more enjoyable and less stressful. The thoughtfully designed technology aims to address common complaints nearly 36 percent of adults have about traditional fitting rooms, from frustration to insecurity.
According to a recent store video, customers can use an AI touch screen to get price checks, request different sizes, and even receive recommendations for coordinating pieces—without leaving the dressing room.
“Right on the screen, it’s going to pick up every single item you have. It will tell you the price and then if you need to change the size, you press ‘Change Size,'” explained an Old Navy associate in the demonstration.
Helpful notifications keep shoppers updated, and staff can bring new sizes directly to the room for a seamless fit. The feature also tracks if items are discounted, shows your total purchase amount, and offers style ideas to inspire wardrobe choices.
Experience a fresh approach to fashion shopping that prioritizes comfort, personalization, and ease—designed for those who value a positive, hassle-free retail visit.
