  • Endico frozen peas & carrots and mixed vegetables recalled for Listeria contamination
  • Sold in 2.5-pound bags with specific lot and use-by dates
  • Distributed in DC, NY, NJ, PA, CT, MD, and FL, with no reported illnesses so far

Two Endico frozen vegetable products are being recalled due to positive tests for Listeria, a bacteria that can cause serious illness.

If you have purchased these products, discard them immediately or return them for a refund.

The affected vegetables include Endico peas and carrots (lot code 110625, use-by June 10, 2027) and mixed vegetables (lot code 170625, use-by June 16, 2027), both sold in 2.5-pound bags.

These products were distributed in Washington, D.C., New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, and Florida between mid-July and early August.

Listeria infection may cause symptoms like fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, or diarrhea in healthy adults.

“Certain individuals—such as young children, pregnant people, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems—may develop more severe or even life-threatening illness,” experts note.

No illnesses linked to these frozen veggies have been reported yet, but staying alert is advised.

If you’ve eaten these recalled products, watch for symptoms over the next two weeks and consult a healthcare provider if you feel unwell or symptoms persist.

Stay vigilant and keep your kitchen safe with regular food label checks and prompt attention to recalls.
