Brandon Blackstock, 48, had battled cancer for more than three years, his family said.

Kelly Clarkson paused her Las Vegas dates to be with their children while he was ill.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” the family said in a statement.

“Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.”

“We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”

“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,” she wrote on Instagram on Aug. 6.

“Brandon’s been my son forever it seems. Although he’s my stepson, I still love him like he’s my total — my blood, so I’m praying for ‘em both ‘cause I love ‘em both,” McEntire told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time of his divorce from Clarkson.

Blackstock worked as a talent manager and had producing credits on The Kelly Clarkson Show and the Blake Shelton special “It’s All About Tonight,” and he was father to River Rose (born 2014), Remington Alexander (born 2016), Seth and Savannah from a previous marriage.
